Time Flies

The school year is passing quickly and soon we will be celebrating 2010. We have learned so many new things in the first part of the school year and have many more exciting things ahead of us. There is a slide show of some of the activities we have enjoyed so far. Be sure to check back often as we post more class updates.

100th Day

This month in Kindergarten we celebrated the 100th day of school. Each student celebrated this day by collecting 100 different things of his or her choice and placing them in a Ziploc bag. Students also pretended they were 100 years old and wrote what it would be like to be 100. Classes read books about the 100th day of school and counted to 100.

Kindergarteners also had Valentine’s Day parties and swapped Valentine cards. Each class graphed conversation hearts and predicted how many hearts were in their baggy.

It is unbelievable how much our kindergarteners have learned since the beginning of the year! Go kindergarten Lyman Lions! Keep up the great work!
