Welcome to Kindergarten!

We are very excited to begin another year of kindergarten at Lyman Elementary School. We are looking forward to a great year full of learning and fun with our wonderful students.

The months ahead will give us many chances to learn about the things that make the fall so much fun: starting school, tasty apples, plentiful pumpkins, Thanksgiving and much more!

We encourage you to check the blog through the year for pictures of class activities and updates about what we are learning and doing.

Winter Celebrations

We have been learning a lot in K5 (ever since we finally got back in school after the week long snow break)! We celebrated the 100th day (and Groundhog's Day, both on the same day). The class found 100 sticky dots hiding in our classroom and we sang songs where we had to exercise 100 times!
Our Valentine's Day celebration was a lot of fun too! We exchanged V-day cards and had homemade cupcakes, cookies and chips! YUM!
It has been exciting to watch the kids grow and learn! They are getting so smart!!! We are looking forward to Spring and the warmer weather!
